For a number of obvious reasons, 2020 was quite the year. First and foremost, it was the year of a global pandemic, of major change and challenge for very many people. Personally, though, it was a year of great joy. Candace and I welcomed little Chloé into our lives. But well before the full scope of the pandemic became known, about this time last year, I conceived of a plan to do around one portrait photography session per week. The goal was to collect them all and display them in some manner or other on my website. However, given the restrictions that were put in place for the city of Montreal for much of the year, this meant that I wasn’t able to do nearly as many sessions as I had intended. But I did manage to do ten portraits for 2020 with which I am quite happy. Many thanks to those who agreed to let me take their picture. And here’s hoping 2021 is a much better year for photography and for everything else.
